A breathtaking video by Peter Jablonowski, Thomas Pöcksteiner, and Lorenz Pritz. They spent 10 days in New York in 2016, shooting 65,000 photos to create the timelapse.
Photographer Stephen Wilkes crafts stunning compositions of landscapes as they transition from day to night, exploring the space-time continuum within a two-dimensional still photograph. Journey with him to iconic locations like the Tournelle Bridge in Paris, El Capitan in Yosemite National Park and a life-giving watering hole in heart of the Serengeti in this tour of his art and process.

Have a look at this great set of magical forests from about the world!
These incredibly enchanting forests seem to have an almost magical feel, beckoning visitors to walk straight into a fantasy world. When you step in, you’ll be taking part in the ancient Chinese tradition of what’s called forest bathing, which means not only do you get to enjoy the spectacular sc…
As I talked about in the previous post, my son Oliver was born in August 2014.
I wondered what I could do to plot his life, so decided to take a picture of him each week to show his changes features over his first year in what I called Life through the Lens.
With his whirlwind first year over, I am now taking a picture once a month, which I hope to continue with!
I will be updating the gallery as and when, but you can see the set up to now here…
Well, I have kind of been “off line” for a while due to more important things in my life – our first baby boy, Oliver, born August 2014. As you can imagine photography has taken a slight back step although that not to say I have stopped! We now have loads of photos of our son from birth all the way through.
Now we are getting back to some kind of normality (although does normal exist now with a toddler intent of destroying all the things!) I hope to containing updating the blog
I have however created several galleries on Flickr of events from last year or so. Please enjoy and comment!

We live in a world of unseeable beauty, so subtle and delicate that it is imperceptible to the human eye. To bring this invisible world to light, filmmaker Louie Schwartzberg bends the boundaries of time and space with high-speed cameras, time lapses and microscopes. At TED2014, he shares highlights from his latest project, a 3D film titled “Mysteries of the Unseen World,” which slows down, speeds up, and magnifies the astonishing wonders of nature.
The New York department of records has uploaded 900,000 images from around the city from iconic landmarks to the mundane. Worth a look!
I’m very much in this camp – useful tips on getting out there and actually doing it!
