New Camera – Canon 70D

Well, I now have a new addition to the camera family – the Canon 70D Mk2 with 18-55mm STM kit lens.

The amount of new features (it has a 600+ page manual!) over my 400D is going to take some time to work out to make sure I get the most from it but so far it looks pretty damn good and hopefully will last as long, if not longer, that the 400D.

Main reasons for the upgrade are the higher resolution, HD video, 7fps and articulated screen.

I’ll still be using the 400D when out and about with both cameras, but will probably be mostly using it with the the 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM lens for landscapes and wide-angle shots.

Scanning through newly available domains, I have found that eotb.photography was available, so I’m now the proud owner of it! Woo Hoo 🙂

Over the years, the eotb.co.uk site has gone through various changes, but I’ve decided to move away from self-developed sites to using a standard site development using Word Press.
